Rose and Rose is a bespoke design house producing high-end fashion items for its discerning customers. I undertake a variety of responsibilities that enables me to engage in every aspect from design and sketches, through to showcasing the final product. My role includes: - Attending meetings with couriers, suppliers, clients and agents and establishing good relationships with them. - Identifying new trends and ideas for the new season collection. - Producing CAD drawings for clients and suppliers. - Working on private label and brand orders making sure they run to plan, and ensuring that the client approves all aspects of the project plan and its delivery. the correct labeling and they are delivered on time. - Making sure day-to-day duties in the studio run smoothly. This includes ensuring that any logistical bottle necks, whether they are with suppliers in Asia or Africa or with local couriers, are quickly resolved so that there is no negative impact on the business. - Coordinating photo-shoots, liaising with photographers, booking models and managing all of the sampling for new seasons. - Merchandising and styling product and models on shoots. - Assisting the photographer with lighting, background and props. - Creating all the design work for the web and press including banners, adverts, product photography, adverts in magazines and newspapers such as the Financial Times. This also includes creating look books and debuting the new season collection. -Travelling overseas to tradeshows, selling promoting to clients (both B2B and B2C) and gaining new contacts.
Meeting and greeting audiences, making sure audiences are safe at all times, helping with health and safety precautions, coordinating logistics across the theatre spaces, resetting performance spaces, liaising with storytellers, ensuring that performances run to time, ensuring the health and safety of the audience and the performers.
Design Intern; assisting in the preparation for The London Design Festival. My duties included: Unpacking and selecting stock for exhibition, rewiring of table lamps, sourcing the right electrical equipment: plugs and switches, sourcing suppliers, graphic design, liaising with printers, delivery of finished pieces, setting up at Design junction, communicating the brand and new products in design blogs, social media, promoting the brand during the exhibition.
I had a highly practical role within the company and was responsible for: Identifying, preparing and despatching high-end, bespoke, items for high profile clients. I have also assisted at flagship stores such as Selfridges and The Wedding Shop. This has led me to develop problem solving skills which have enabled me to identify creative solutions to satisfy the needs of key clientele. I thoroughly enjoyed this role as it has allowed me to practice many of the hands on creative skills that I loved at University.
Assisting the Technical Secretariat of an ISO committee in developing International Standards. Duties involve; managing an Open Text website, assisting the Programme Manager in gaining international consensus for technical documents that are published and used worldwide.

My duties included: Canary Logo design Artworking, resizing and using various DMS systems to manage player photos Designing icons, apps, team logos and widgets Designed and coded the IPL mobile landing page Coded the IPL social page Illustrations clarifying concepts and ideas for a Sony/Fifa 2014 project partnership Designing and creating decks to show potential or current clients initial designs through to the finished product. As well as getting to grips with HTML and CSS I have been using a variety of document management systems such as Git, 3Hub, Filezilla and the Pulse DMS. These have been important to master as it means I am able to see a task through to the end. Not only can I design the content but using these applications I am also able to implement them and ensure the job is done.
