As Head of Creative & Design, I led the creative vision for both the studio and the wider business, collaborating closely with clients to translate their goals into innovative and impactful design solutions. I was responsible for driving the creative strategy from concept to execution, ensuring the team consistently delivered high-quality work aligned with both the brand’s identity and the client’s objectives.
Joining the business at a pivotal moment, I played a key role in building and shaping the creative team, expanding it from a single designer to a full-time staff of 8, while managing larger teams of up to 13, including freelancers. I fostered a creative environment where team members were encouraged to push boundaries, develop their skills, and achieve both personal and professional growth.
In collaboration with the wider Senior Leadership Team, I helped craft and implement various company-wide processes, focusing on operational efficiencies and recognition programs to boost staff morale. Independently, I developed specific frameworks for the studio, including development plans, talent recruitment strategies, skills gap analyses, and ensuring market-competitive salaries. Additionally, I led efforts to acquire the necessary hardware and software to enhance the team’s productivity, while setting up and building the studio.
