About me

linkedin.com/in/lélia-loison-591388a0 Graduated from an International MBA in Arts and Cultural Management (in English) at the International University of Catalunya in Barcelona, I’ve dedicated my professional career to the field of music in several of its aspects. Amongst other experiences, I’ve worked freelance or as an intern in music management, music publishing, events and festivals coordination. My experience in Barcelona as the Hospitality Manager and Coordinator of two music festivals (Mutek and the Sonar Off festival IR BCN) taught me how to be organized and keep track of diverse tasks at the same time, on top of not being afraid by deadlines nor stress. I speak English, French and Spanish fluently, and I’m able to adapt quickly to unpredictable situations in order to find the best solution possible to resolve them. For instance, the tasks I achieved during the two last editions of the aforementioned festivals are the following:? - Organizing the accommodation and transports for the artists - Collecting and classifying the technical and hospitality riders - Coordinating the runners and organizing the artists’ travel itinerary - Coordinating the partnerships - Coordination the making of accreditations for the team and partners - Welcoming and being the contact person for the artists and partners on site - making sure that they feel at ease during their stay - Solving last-minute issues regarding the shows, accommodations or flights delay On the other hand, I work as a music journalist for both online and printed magazines, and I've earned a strong music knowledge along the years.. I’m currently the editor in chief of the online magazine Beyeah, where I daily supervise the editorial line - including proofreading and publishing contents, but also managing a team of fifteen editors all working voluntarily. As of today, I also work as a Music Supervisor for the company TooYoung Music LTD which is specialized in search and licensing, endorsement, artist management & development, and integrated global music strategies projects.
