I am a creative and industrious professional who has extensive experience in tech start-ups, music and account management. I currently work full time as a freelance account manager, my main clients being Mi7 records (Label Manager) and new ticketing/crowd-funding start-up Openstage (Partnerships Manager). Business Development | Delivered access to market of 100,000 artists through two major deals alongside delivering presentations and demo’s targeted at promoters, agents, managers, labels and publishers. Work closely with MTN (telecommunications), developing a service similar to O2 Priorities for their 250 million+ customer base. Partnership Management | Aligned Openstage with bodies such as the MMF (a union for music managers in the UK) and Independent Venues Week, providing trusted backing and access to key industry players. Relationship Management | First point of contact for all new clients including Warner Music Latin, Universal Music Group and Communion, where I am leading discussions in order to agree exclusivity contracts. UX / System Development | Work closely with the international development team advising them on UX, design and back end functionality, leading to an increase in admin efficiency and positive user feedback. Investment | 7 figure round of investment currently in motion; I have contributed heavily to the investor memorandum as well as having sourced potential investors. Copywriting | Sign off on all communications to ensure a clear message is conveyed across the site and external marketing materials.

Clients include John Knowles (Universal Music Group), Seamus Morley (Above & Beyond) and London Village (Artist Management & Record Label). Relationship Management | Maintain relations with distributor, Believe Digital, which has lead to our contract being extended and now allows us to act as an agent for new artists and labels. Profile Raising | Deliver a range of social media, branding, creative and communication services for artists from preparing content to reporting on analytics. Key achievement; increasing the online following of D’Banj by 30% within 3 months to over 2.5 million. Product & Campaign Management | Oversee releases through inception, production and distribution by scheduling timetables and managing personnel to ensure delivery of materials within deadlines and that budgetary restrictions are adhered to. Legal | Construct contracts and negotiate with external legal teams for deals including Trampolene (Japanese licensing deal), We Were Evergreen (Record contract w/ Island Records) and Believe Digital (distribution deal). Studio Management | Book, manage and oversee sessions at in house recording and photography studios. Clients include Adidas, Zdot and Beats by Dre. Event Management | Onsite event management, stage management, programming and artist liaison of the Green Peace Stage at Glastonbury with artists including Young Fathers, Bonobo, Bipolar Sunshine and War Paint.
Relationship Management | Managed 45,000 song writers, ensuring queries were solved efficiently and that clients were utilising the system to it’s full potential in order to increase their revenue. Developed and implemented new business-to-consumer communication strategy creating a growth in online activity/interaction. Business Development | 29 territory expansion across Europe, the USA and Asia; created marketing strategies for various cultures as well as multi-currency forecasting. Worked on B2B and licensing deals that generated 6 figure profits with Channel 5, ReverbNation, Strictly Confidential and Pledge Music. Profile Raising | Devised and executed effective PR campaigns (online, social media, print and broadcast) including a television commercial with Channel 5, resulting in 2,000 new customers (doubling client base at the time). Organised & promoted Sentric showcases/expositions at industry festivals.
