Proofing and preparing film entries for the judging that takes place during the festival as well as assisting any entrants with queries via email and telephone.
The role included coordinating within all sectors of the company such as assisting the merchandiser and buyer, sourcing freelance graphic designers, coordinating several personal tasks for the Creative Director such as personal diary management, liaising with the external PR team, dealing and assisting an elite group of high end Indian couture designers, supervising and preparing weekly/monthly sales reports for our inhouse accounts team, stock taking of all merchandise and coordinating with our shipping team to assure that necessary shipping arrangements are organised accordingly. In addition to the tasks I acquire on a daily basis our team recently held the first successful wedding show at the Dorchester on the 25th of January. 'The Aashni + Co Wedding Show' The aim of the show was to combine the talents of 18 elite high end Indian couture designers under one roof to introduce and expose them into the Asian market in the United Kingdom. My role during the organisational period was liaising and coordinating with all parties of the show including the 18 designers, wedding planners, florists, press, PR, production company, advertising and marketing companies and many more.
Generating sales within the showroom, high end customer services via telephone, email and face to face interaction, floor plan analysis, interior consultant services, and general management of the showroom presentation while intensely training on all the showroom products.
