Design Intern

Having the opportunity to do a two week placement within the womenswear team at George has given me a great insight to the fashion industry. I was able to sit in on some fit sessions for knitwear, jersey wear and bottoms. I was able to take on research and trend prediction with the female bottoms team and also join in on a few meetings. It was a fantastic experience, I learned a lot and enjoyed every moment.

Footasylum is a high street designer clothes and footwear shop. My job roles here included providing high quality customer service by customer communication and having a good product knowledge of the store to ensure that customers had a great experience when coming in to the store making them want to return. Till work was also a main duty as well as the replenishing of stock.
