Graphic designer based in Manchester.Locked Pro Plan feature
After graduating university, and in between my various internships, I have been working for myself on a variety of design projects. My main focus has been logo design, creating brand identities for online forums and blogs such as the Special Events Forum and The Magazine Review, as well as designing logos for craft shop Izzy Bee, events company Coveted Events and start-up cosmetics brand Ultraviolet. In addition to this I sell prints and cards online. I sell a mixture of typographic designs and some illustrations and often create unique orders and special requests for my customers.
As a design intern at Cotton I worked on the visual identity for a new app, as well as designing posters for a variety of fringe festival acts and assisting on web design projects.
At NoChintz interior design studio I worked in the graphic design department. I was able to assist on many projects for interior spaces around Manchester including generating concepts for the Odd Bar window, creating posters and loyalty card designs for Infamous diner and gathering research for a number of other briefs. I was also able to work independently on a project for NoHo bar, creating and installing photography work for the walls of the interior space.
During my time at MediaCom I worked in the marketing department assisting the designers on all manner of projects including book and brochure design, presentation design, posters, web graphics and roll banners.
I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Design. Over the course of three years I was able to develop my skills as a designer, illustrator and photographer, working on all manner of briefs and collaborating with my fellow students and external design studios.
I completed a one year foundation diploma before attending university. I graduated with a Distinction at the end of the year.
