London-based Creative with almost four years’ experience as a Copywriter and Creative Producer. Currently writing freelance at DesignStudio, the creative agency behind the AirBnB brand as you know it. Before this I was in the startup scene, helping TransferWise (a former client) spread their money revolution further. I joined up with them from my previous agency, venturethree. venturethree is where everything began though. Starting as an intern, I went on to spend over three years there doing the writing and thinking for a variety of brands including Sky, Waterstones and King.
- Internet MattersIn an age where kids spend an average of seven hours a day online, until recently there was still no parental resource for internet safety. In 2014, I was the Copywriter on the launch campaign for a government initiative (backed by Sky, TalkTalk, BT and Virgin) to change this. Introducing Internet Matters.
- Waterstones: #TheBookThatMadeMePut simply, people don’t read enough anymore. The brief from Waterstones was to make the nation fall in love with reading again. My role was to conceptualise and bring to life a fully-integrated campaign that invited the nation to share the story that changed their lives. Campaign included a microsite, in-store activity, TV ads created in partnership with Sky Arts and a touring booth at literary festivals around the country.
- King: Bitesize BrillianceI was lead Copywriter on the global rebrand for King, the digital games company behind Candy Crush Saga – one of the most loved games of the smartphone era. Echoing the strategic idea of “Bitesize brilliance” (instantly snackable games that can be completed in minutes) – I developed a new tone of voice for the business based upon Ernest Hemingway’s famous Six Word Stories.
