About me
Liam Kennedy is a film director from the north of England. Alongside short fiction he writes screenplays, advertisements and travel memoirs. He has a travel blog that can be found at http://liam-kennedy.squarespace.com. 2014 is the year he intends to make the move towards becoming a full time writer. In his spare time he loves reading, snowboarding, travel and photography.
Projects
- Littlewoods Christmas CampaignI directed and edited 12 adverts for the popular British superstore 'Littlewoods'. 6 of the adverts, entitled 'Make it Amazing' starred television personality Myleene Klass and 6, entitled 'Kids Know Best', involved working with child actors. The shoot was mainly studio based.

I am currently working for 'Happy Days Homeless Charity' as their primary filmmaker. I create short promotional videos and case study documentaries for both the 'Happy Days' charity and an affiliate charity named 'Walking Free'. Walking Free helps in the rehabilitation of alcoholics and drug addicts.

I studied Film and Television Production in order to hone my skills both as a filmmaker and as a writer. I wrote and directed several short fiction and documentary films while on the course. I was awarded first class honours upon completion of my degree.
