I work as a freelance photographer for a number of global brands. A large portion of my work involves creating backstage imagery at fashion shows and other high profile events across still and moving image.
The objective of this highly intensive fashion programme is for students to produce a portfolio of work which can be used to apply for an undergraduate, postgraduate fashion programme, or for employment or personal development. I am currently the fashion communication pathway tutor and lead the image component of the course
Working closely with the curatorial team and the Isabella Blow Foundation, my role was to help create methods of displaying Isabella Blow’s fashion editorial work within the exhibition. This entailed familiarizing myself with Blow’s surviving wardrobe and taking photographs of the items to accompany an essay by Professor Caroline Evans within the exhibition catalogue, which included images by Nick Knight. I was also commissioned to create, develop and install a large scale digital projection of Blow to illustrate the theme of biography in the opening room of the exhibition.
Assistant to the high profile photographers Sean + Seng. Assisting them across all aspects of their creative output from campaigns, magazine editorials and self directed projects.
Research based role within the archive at Vogue House assisting on the picture research and production of the Vogue Portfolio: series of books. My role requires a comprehensive search through all published Vogue magazines from Sep 1916 through to the present day, selecting any images relevant to the topic and obtaining copyright from the relevant authors.
