About me
I am an award winning freelance animation director and interaction designer. I specialise in creating work that helps brands to enhance their products and services through clear and simple storytelling and visually engaging design to inform and connect costumers. I have most recently created a set of animations for new innovations within the NHS and digital health. A graduate from the Glasgow School of Art, I've been in the digital design industry since the dawn of the internet with a vast experience and broad range of creative skills means i've garnered an excellent depth and breadth in my portfolio. I am available for all your creative needs, please get in touch so we can talk and I can share more work and my processes with you in person.
Projects
  • Adverse Events - Site Infections
Adverse Events - Site InfectionsWorking with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and top surgeons within the NHS, I was asked to turn their latest recommendations into a quick animation to be used in conferences to talk to healthcare professionals about ways to decrease surgical site infections.
  • Hark
HarkHark is an application to streamline the processes around daily clinical tasks. I was asked to create a set of animations to introduce and explain to potential clients how their new HARK app could help them work more efficiently and effectively. With limited assets, a series of icons was developed to work alongside captured app footage to clearly explain a complex process.
  • MAST Interactive Exhibits
MAST Interactive ExhibitsI was brought in by AllofUs to lead the team to create a series of interactive exhibits for MAST, a new cultural institution that focuses on art, technology and innovation, established by industrial solutions group Coesia in Bologna, Italy. We were asked to create three exhibits for the Industrial Focus Area to explore and celebrate the innovations in electro-mechanical engineering and motion. As the creative interaction lead, I worked as a bridge between the Design, UX and technical teams, shaping the three concepts ready to present to the client in Bologna. Each Interactive takes visitors through a different engagement that starts with MOVE IT, a truly interactive journey that allows visitors to design different gears through multitouch and object recognition.
