  • Overview: Working across a number of projects with varying editorial briefs, I have been key in leading successful casting campaigns and producing editorial content which has been broadcast to millions of viewers in the UK and internationally. My role as Producer requires me to be creative, resourceful and self-motivated, whilst maintaining a cool head under pressure and leading by example with junior team members. Key Responsibilities:  Supporting Executive Producers to ensure editorial briefs are delivered on time and in budget.  Devising and implementing effective communication strategies to engage target audiences (online and offline) for casting and publicity purposes.  Directly targeting individuals and companies for casting outreach and publicity purposes.  Writing copy and producing short form video for broadcast and social media output.  Compiling research and pitching creative ideas for editorial content to executives and external parties.  Collaborating with members of the public, high profile talent, journalists, publicity departments and agents.  Sourcing locations and organising shoots across the UK; providing logistical solutions and compiling detailed filming schedules.  Negotiating fees and contract terms with external companies and management.  Taking control of allocated budgets and managing expenditure while maximising cost savings.  Managing and mentoring junior team members, ensuring to provide guidance and help with individual career development.  Cross departmental communication, liaising with HODs ensuring to provide detailed updates, ideas and solutions.  Filming and directing onscreen talent in line with the editorial remit on location and in studio.  Maintaining editorial and compliance procedures, as well as handling sensitive data.  Acting as a spokesperson when liaising with external parties and fielding enquires as appropriate.

  • Overview: As an Assistant Producer, my role was to support senior editorial team members by providing research, managing social media output, devising effective targeting strategies for mass outreach and organising shoots across the UK and overseas. Key Responsibilities:  Sourcing filming locations ranging from luxury venues to privately owned properties and negotiating fees and contract terms.  Compiling accurate research through use of traditional and online resources; fact checking scripts and editorial documents.  Filming and directing high profile talent and members of the public in studio and on location.  Developing ideas on editorial content and pitching to senior executives.  Identifying appropriate individuals for casting purposes and targeting directly.  Communicating with editorial teams and ensuring to deliver to brief when directing onscreen talent.  Filming and editing short form video for broadcast and social media output.  Forward and creative planning – researching upcoming events, current affairs and social media trends.  Mass outreach through use of social platforms, print and radio.
