Working within the marketing team I assisted with delivering online and offline marketing campaigns to promote a series of high profile events. I assisted with the delivery of cross-channel social media campaigns for Edinburgh’s Christmas and Hogmanay, proofed and briefed print media including brochure content, flyers and signage. I was responsible for regularly updating the website with copy for events and news, selecting photography and writing blog posts. I also wrote and sent regular email marketing campaigns to over 100,000 subscribers using MailChimp. I helped to increase engagement statistics across social media platforms and managed the design of an access map for Edinburgh’s Christmas to promote the improved accessibility of the site.

For the month of the Edinburgh Festival I worked as a Festival Press Assistant for The Corner Shop PR, working in the Press Office for Underbelly. It was my responsibility to process press ticket requests on the VIA ticketing platform for journalists and reviewers and assist with the running of the Underbelly press office. I liaised with PRs, producers and performers to ensure maximum press engagement with shows at the venue.
