I develop strategies that combine my architectural knowledge with a sonic experience: exploring responsive and critical design that draws strongly from Space to Sound (and vice versa). With a conscious social and cultural context my endeavour is on how a conceptual statement or an artistic groundwork can be express. Architecture impacts how people experience space and contributes to shape place with a mindful awareness of its cultural and social arrangement. The public and legal frameworks within which we practise provide guidance, maintain standards and offer creative opportunities to realise the full design potential of a situation. This design has been in mostly based on the visual outcome of a project, missing the 'aural' contribution to its functions. How can architecture actively complement and contribute for the sonic spatial awareness? How can a balance be achieved? With my sonic work I try to explore by intertwining theory and research on small scale projects, which are experiments of my interpretation of sonic attributes analysis shaped into space. I am aiming to work as an architectural mediator for a sonic realm and study strategy to best engage listeners and users of a space.
