Hi there I'm Lily. I am capable, proactive and immersed in the communications industry. I am interested in the digital world vs print and how it affects the media, the growth of blogs, online mediums and how audiences crave instantaneous news and information.
Fashion and beauty are a great passion of mine, so, PRs effect on the fashion and beauty industry and how people are so connected within PR greatly interests me. As part of Generation Z, I am immersed in the blogosphere. As well as reading and keeping up to date with a number of blogs and YouTube channels I write my own lifestyle blog, ‘Positively Clueless’. This has allowed me to become even more creative and refine my writing skills.

Projects
- My Placement Year at Talk PREach day at Talk was a new challenge. Day to day tasks included: · Coverage placed across all media outlets including long lead, mid lead, short lead, digital and social · Writing press releases · Managing samples · Assisting with media outreach to meet KPI’s · Creating social content for in house, client and influencer/media use · Managing the influencer database During placement, Talk PR set an intern consultancy task, which I led. We were asked to create a database where all influencer information could be collated, highlighting specific influencer information (e.g. birthday, hair colour and the last contact from Talk PR etc). The database’s main aim was to help the agency be specialised when pitching to influencers. We presented our database back to the whole of the agency and it received a great deal of praise from all levels, including Board Directors.

At Talk I worked across Coty (Wella Professionals, Hugo Boss fragrances and Alexander McQueen fragrances), Sainsbury’s Boutique, Sainsbury’s My Hair Matters, Johnson and Johnson (Neutrogena), Fabled by Marie Claire, Lindt and Le Creuset.
