Creative director and project manager at Malcriada: A “feministic lesbian artistic collective” comprising five souls who love women. In 2013 I gathered my best friends with different backgrounds, skills and narratives to see if we could create magic together. Thats how Malcriada was born. Helena, Dijle, Maria, Moa and myself wanted to contribute with a safe space for lesbians and there friends to explore great music, art and each other. Our mission Spreading the love of feminism and creating a place where women are in focus and where all guests can get a well-needed break from the usual everyday sexism and homophobia and all other discrimination that goes on out there. That is the only thing we expect from our audience; you don’t have to be a lesbian (even though we highly recommend it), or even identify as woman, but you have to stand up for the political values and norm-breaking actions us Malcriadas want to mediate. We also want to mediate confidence to our audience who are in many ways discriminated against in society – we have a strong feministic and gay rights political agenda and we want to show that in all dimensions of a Malcriada night.
