About me
My name is Linda Scerpella and I am a London-based motion graphics designer. With a background in graphic design from my lovely Switzerland, I have recently graduated with a Firt-Class Honours Degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics at Brunel University. During my studies I had work epxerience at Peter Anderson Studio in London as an animation and brand intern. I like experimenting with different techniques and styles and I am able to adapt depending on the job. I consider myself as an extremely enthusiastic and hard-working person, capable of working both on my own and as part of a team. I have experience in dealing with clients and managing a team. I love storytelling and I am looking for my place in the beautiful world of moving images. My most recent work collaborations have been at Huge Designs and I am currently working at Pentland Brands. During my work experiences I had the pleasure to work on projects commissioned by Sky Vision, BBC, Netflix and AMC Studios, among others.

  • The Walking Dead Season 10 Title Sequence
The Walking Dead Season 10 Title SequenceI had the pleasure of working with the team at Huge Designs on the latest title sequence for The Walking Dead Season 10. I primarily worked on the new scenes that were introduced based on the previous season, as well as adding new easter egg elements into existing scenes.
  • Shakespeare & Hathaway Title Sequence
Shakespeare & Hathaway Title SequenceI was part of the Peter Anderson Studio creative team behind the title sequence for BBC series Shakespeare & Hathaway. This included coming up with concepts and ideas for the sequence as well as creating pitch designs to show to the client. I was in charge of most aspects of this project: cutting elements in Adobe Photoshop, creating 3D scenes within Adobe After Effects, setting camera movements, texturing and treatment of single elements and overall scene, connecting different Adobe After Effe
  • INVISIBLE PLASTICS
INVISIBLE PLASTICSMy final year project was Invisible Plastics. With this project I was aiming to create an awareness campaign based around less visible and known plastic issues such as microplastics and toxins. The main part of the campaign is based around short videos that explain inidividual and specific issues related to plastics, but in a direct and simple way. The tone and style of the animation is quite light, in order to involve the viewers, rather than scare them off with “ugly” images and facts. I h
  • Kung Fu Panda End Title Sequence
Kung Fu Panda End Title SequenceI created this end title sequence as part of the module Advanced Motion Graphics. The only assets that were given to us were the cut out characters. All assets were made in Illustrator and textures were added in Adobe Photoshop. The entire sequence was put together using Adobe After Effects.
  • OFFF London 2020
OFFF London 2020I created this opening title sequence as part of the module Advanced Motion Graphics. The only requirement for this assignment was using Cinema 4D and After Effects. Other than this, the brief was completely open to us to do what we wanted. I have decided to create a fake title sequence for OFFF London 2020, as it allows for great experimentation and creativity. I have been taking this assignment as a way to “play around” with Cinema 4D and a lot of its features: shapes, shaders, dynamics, metab
