I currently work as an IT project co-ordinator for Toyota GB PLC. My job role encompasses communicating with stakeholders, ensuring the project teams have all relevant information at all times, discussions and liaising with suppliers and customers for various IT projects at the world's largest automotive brand.
The Lacehouse is a bar and club venue in Nottingham where I worked during my first year of university. I launched a prohibition themed Thursday jazz night, focussing on prohibition cocktails and music. I also assisted the manager on organising private parties and developing the brand name within the city. I also worked behind the bar serving cocktails and developing my drink mixing skills.
I served as a teaching aid to a child with special needs, learning basic sign language for communication. Worked with an only French-speaking child and helping him integrate with the class. I taught children of the age between 1 and 4 to develop their arts, maths and communication skills preparing them for starting school. This was my first full-time job I had whilst taking a gap-year in Stockholm, Sweden before starting my university studies.
I was a breakfast and lunch waitress at a five-star hotel in Stockholm, Sweden which taught me how to work in a dynamic team and stressful environment - constantly being on "shop floor" and exposed to customers.. I learnt till management subsequently allowing me to be responsible for money management. I worked in room service entailing me to take, prepare and deliver orders on time to hotel guests. Developed my customer service skills which also allowed me to use my language skills increasing the customer satisfaction levels for guests.
