    Bloc is a social events app that connects people before events as well as a SaaS platform for advertising. As their Sales Account Manager my job is to manage a small team of sales executives and sign-up venues, restaurants and bars for advertising as well as manage their existing accounts. • I am solely responsible for managing one full time sales executive and one part-time sales executive. I set targets and make sure targets are successfully hit. • I implemented inbound marketing lead generation on Bloc’s website to create a healthy sales funnel. • Using a combination of email marketing, cold-calling and in-person meetings, I’ve never missed a target. • As well as getting sign-ups, I onboard advertisers and manage their accounts, making sure they are retained. • A large part of my job is managing the database and making sure we are always on top of our CRM (Hubspot).

    This is Beyond creates events that reshape industries into inspired communities through carefully curated, immersive events. Each event consists of an un-conference, pre-matched appointments market place and entrancing parties. 
 My role as the Operations Executive for We Are Africa (Cape Town) and Pure Life Experiences (Marrakech) focuses on the market place, which involves organising all operational elements leading up to the event as well as running the event on site. Some of my core responsibilities during this role are listed below: • Solely managing all F&B requirements for the event. This includes building and managing relationships with different food and drink brands and suppliers in order to deliver a dynamic event for a community of up to 2,000 delegates. • I work closely with the sales and marketing team in order to help develop sales pitches and proposals for sponsorship activations and elements on the show floor. Once the agreement has been made, I manage the account to ensure all elements are executed as promised. • We work with the creative team to deliver engaging and exciting activations on the show floor to ensure our events are industry changing. • One of my most passionate projects was conceptualising and organising the ‘Community Project’ initiative amongst our Community at Pure Life Experiences. • Other responsibilities also include, managing supplier relationships and contracts and creating set up schedules.
