- Conceptual cover designWhilst the fashion industry continues to evolve and is challenged to create new systems in a changing world, I wanted to share my memories of the shows as a Graphic Designer once working full-time in magazines. A decade ago, fashion trends were still common place, instagram didn't yet exist, virtual fashion shows had never been considered, and for ELLE's biannual publication we always wanted to think outside the box of what a traditional fashion magazine cover may look like. - Karl Lagerfeld Self-portraitThe creative for this portrait was in answer to the feature title "The Titans behind Chanel", an editorial that looked into the people who worked closest with Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director of Chanel. We were inspired by Mr. Lagerfelds "The Little Black Jacket" portfolio book that he shot that season, so in keeping with that style of black and white photography and lighting we knew that even a photograph of Mr. Lagerfeld's infamous high collar, suit and pony-tail would tell the devout fashio

- DaddyJeremy O. Harris melodrama is set in Bel Air, and tells the story of Franklin, an up-and-coming African American artist who starts a relationship with an older white rich art collector. His mother comes to visit and things take a surreal turn. I was inspired by pictures of artists in their studio, including Basquiat and Shantell Martin, and pulled some quotes from the script to represent Franklin’s obsession with father figures.
