Freelance Brand + Marketing DesignerUnited Kingdom
About me
I'm a multi-disciplinary designer and for 12+ years I've provided print, digital and motion design to global clients, remotely. I now focus on brand and marketing design. Skilled with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and also use InDesign and Premier Pro. I have run my own business for those 12 years so I also have knowledge around project management, sourcing and hiring freelancers, marketing, accounts and general running of a business. I manage my time well and can multi-task along with hitting deadlines. I've worked closely with sport and entertainment agencies for over 10 years, embedded in their teams, helping to expand their offerings. I take on design projects via day and project rates. I tend to book 2-4 weeks in advance. Please get in touch for more information. View my portfolio www.three29design.com You'll also find testimonials from those I've worked with on my site.

  • Four Priests Brewery Visual Branding
Four Priests Brewery Visual BrandingBrewery branding for homebrew hobby turned startup, with foundations from the history books. The name Four Priests comes from the priests Cedd, Betti, Adda and Diuma who were said to visit Sandbach ins 653 AD. The Sandbach Crosses are Anglo-Saxon and they have been brutalised over the years but now they stand proud on the High Street cobbles. Andy wanted his brewery branding to take inspiration from the Sandbach Crosses and was happy to mix the old with the new. From there, it was up to me. I
  • Reimagined DMX cover art
Reimagined DMX cover artBorn Loser is such an important early DMX track but it lacked any proper artwork so I set out to fix that with a self-initiated personal project which ended up as a series of reimagined artwork for several of X’s greatest tracks. Each cover followed a consistent look that embodies the feel of the 90s with the printed, vintage look. This is a personal project to keep the skills sharp during an extended period off work due to injury.
  • Fun branding and all round design for Making Waves Swim School
Fun branding and all round design for Making Waves Swim SchoolMaking Waves Swim School is a children’s swim school based around North Wales and Cheshire which works at over 10 different venues in the vicinity. They originally got in touch with me looking for a refresh of their logo. This turned into a complete swim school rebrand which naturally evolved as they grew over the years. The following shows a small selection of work for this swim school rebrand, through the years we’ve worked on countless flyer and leaflet designs for each venue, t-shirts, swim

  • Illustrated cover art for three of Venem's releases
Illustrated cover art for three of Venem's releasesVenem aka Jakarri always has great ideas in his mind and he reaches out to me to make them reality. ‘VENEM IS DEAD’ In 2016 Venem decided to drop the stage name and run with his own, Jakarri. This created an opportunity for us to play on the Venom comic book character and the iconic scene within Spiderman. The cover was illustrated in a very similar way to the comic books to be instantly recognisable and finished off with an actual comic book feel, using textures, stickers and logo/name placeme
  • Branding and all round design for Oatcakes & Milkshakes diner
Branding and all round design for Oatcakes & Milkshakes dinerOatcakes & Milkshakes is a quirky cafe in Stone, Staffordshire and I've worked with them for several years. Initially, we were brought on board to rework their menus using the existing logo and colour palette. We settled on a double-sided A3 menu in a style which was far from the usual boring menu look. These were printed onto a wipeable and tearproof stock to help them withstand the abuse they get on the tables. As well as the menus, O&M have asked us to create various illustrations of their p
