  • Designing a new head office for Hunters estate agents, York. The final scheme has successfully been implemented. Additionally the opportunity to work on a selection of residential properties. Understanding and using spatial planning, detailing and specifications were key throughout the design and development process. I had overall responsibility for these aspects and was also trusted to independently manage budget specifications and liaise with suppliers. I was also responsible for the tender pack and pricing.

Prize for excellence in conceptualisation through 3D modelling

  • I was awarded the prize for Excellence in Conceptualisation Through 3D Modelling by the external examiner. For the final project, we were briefed to make a: Site, Detail and Spatial model. I chose to a design that incorporated all 3 models into one, complementing the overall presentation of the final major project. The model is comprised out of multiple layers of laser cut plywood, designed on AutoCAD!excellence-through-3d-modelling/cmp7


The Apartment Group Award

  • My bar design, 'Aya Yait' was selected by University tutors to present to The Apartment Group, where it was then chosen as one of four winners. Elements of each design will be used within a new bar opening in Newcastle. We were also presented with a cash prize to help us further our studies.!apartment-group-award/cfvq
