About me

After graduating from university in May this year I have been working as a junior designer within digital marketing; generating and supplying creative for brands such as The Famous Grouse; however realising after a couple of months that I want to be working in a more creative setting and focusing more on illustration, drawing and having more creative freedom. I've interned with a number of creative agencies around Scotland, gaining experience and learning loads of new skills. I love working with others and in a creative setting, and I am currently setting up a collective called GD with other designers and artists to gain exposure and work on more creative briefs.

  Stockbridge IllustrationThis illustration was a print commission to create an illustration of Stockbridge, Edinburgh. The client wanted to show the busy and green aspect of the area as part of a campaign to attract visitors.
• Napier Student GuideThe Edinburgh Napier Student guide was an answer to a brief to design something to go on one of the main walls of a university campus. The wall was designed to show all the different appealing areas of Edinburgh and act as a map and guide to new students.
• Block FontFont made from children's blocks, inspired by designing for a children's charity.
• Bird WorldAn illustration inspired by ponds and rivers in Edinburgh, as part of a series of illustration commissions on the city.
• Circle FontThe circle font is designed to be part of my own identity and developed from the curls of my original identity.
• PrintsA series of prints commissioned to promote shops throughout Edinburgh.
