I am a recent graduate of English Literature seeking to work for innovative and creative projects in media, publishing and the arts. I am passionate about new fiction, thoughtful journalism, visual arts, TV production, and theatre. I want to put my experience as an editor, writer, and astute reader to work. I am diligent and ever eager to expand my skills base either by working independently or as part of a team. I hope that I can provide a fresh outlook and hard work.

Academic online and print journal which seeks to publish works of literary translation from any language into English and Irish, as well as articles and interviews on the subject of translation. I am a founding member of the journal which launched in April 2013. I acted as deputy to the Editor, fostering partnerships with other organisations and contributors, organising events, promoting the Journal and its new ventures, assisted the acquisition of funding and the devising of projects for the expansion of the Journal.
As Deputy editor and Chief copyeditor I acted as member of the senior editorial staff, inputting on directional decisions, such as design and content issues, marketing and promotion tactics and management level decision making. I was charge of editing for the entire magazine, leading a team of copyeditors, developing and writing the magazine style guide, ensuring maintenance of production schedule.
Independent publisher focusing on contemporary women’s writing. My roles included reading submissions, marketing strategy, development of relations with journalists and literary magazines, coordination with authors, copyediting and content editing. I have been involved in two publications: Sailing Through Byzantium by Maureen Freely (2013), and Dogwood by Lindsay Parnell (March 2015) of which I was co-editor.
Award-winning, student-led arts and culture magazine. As section editor my role included managing, generating and researching content, obtaining press copies for review, editing and coordinating contributors, writing content, and conducting interviews (throughout the year we published interviews with Junot Díaz, Sergio de la Pava, and Paul Harding).
Week long international golf tournament. My duties consisted of conducting and transcribing interviews for the Press Secretary, researching and writing, managing journalist access, organising the press room, writing summaries and press releases, and scheduling interviews.
