Working at So Empire with tutor Myst since completing the Capital XTRA Music Potential course, assisting on various music business projects with tasks including: • Aiding on marketing campaigns • Collating information for music contact databases • Researching/scouting producers, writers and vocalists • Providing critical opinions on music in development • Engage with recording and songwriting artists on studio based projects as part of the IITS experience
This campaign ran through eight months all together and across 16 different cities. Throughout I was had the of staff booker. It was my responsibility to ensure all places were filled, all the staff were briefed and understood their roles, responsibilities and had sufficient brand knowledge. On an event week I would be organizing over 100 staff. It was also essential to be on call as the campaign took place over the weekend, as I had great involvement of the staff I generally took on this responsibility which involved dealing with any issues with venues and the teams.
As an account executive at Expo Stars Interactive I was expected to create my own client base. This initially involves reaching out to prospective clients followed by building and maintaining working relationships. This requires excellent networking skills and large amounts of enthusiasm. I had liaise with clients both over the phone and in person at exhibition events, organising casting calls and interviews for promotion staff.
Working in the Samsung Galaxy Studio, a replica igloo located in the French Alps. This role involved demonstrating Samsung's new products the Note 3 and Gear in French and English, as well as explaining Samsung's involvement with Sochi 2014, as their official partner. This also included experiential activities engaging consumers with the igloo forming a connection. The majority of my work as a brand warrior for Tribe has been representing Coca Cola and Co. I have travelled all over the UK for various Coke brands including Coke red, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta and Sprite in different experiential activities in various locations nationwide such as football stadiums, concert venues, festivals and theme parks. For the past two years I have been chosen as core team for the coca cola Christmas campaign, which was a road show that involved travelling around with the Christmas Truck sampling and using the Click it to take professional photo’s in front of the truck.
