- COYSelf portraits define the artists’ ‘true self’, but what happens when you’re afraid to be seen? For my series Coy, I explore self representation to determine just how much of myself I’m comfortable exposing. I took advantage of the dark room chemical process to create portraits that are part developed, allowing my form to be fully seen by the camera but partly hidden from society. All prints are unique and were made by hand in the darkroom.
