Work history
    European Purchasing Manager, Trade Sales and Production Associate
    Role is based within the Trade Office and consists of the day-to-day processing of trade and retail sales (with bonus incentives) of high quality luxury goods including furniture, fabric, lighting, antiques, artwork and accessories to High Net-Worth and High Profile Individuals, as well as processing new trade account applications for interior designers and architects. Administrative Tasks: generating Pro-Forma and VAT invoices, Customs documents, processing payments, daily reconciliation of card payments and processing in-house orders. Keyholder: responsible for the opening and closing of the showroom with a security lock. Purchasing: I create Purchase Orders with mainly European suppliers, buying on behalf of the company for the Sales and Design departments for small and large scale projects. This role also requires liaison with logistics companies to organise overseas shipments from abroad and the management of product stock levels. Client liaison: Proposing and suggesting ideas for layouts i.e. different fabrics and furniture, forming long-standing client relationships by providing an excellent level of Customer Service at all times. Social Media: I use social media outlets to help promote new products, company blog posts and events. Product Development: Photography of new products, pricing of goods including profit margins and allowance for VAT, production of specification sheets for products including product dimensions, product materials and different options available; in the case of antiques and artwork specifying product origin, era and style.
    Gallery Assistant & Fine Art Consultant

    Role primarily consisted of the selling and dealing of luxury original artwork priced between $2,000 to $100,000, the hanging of framed artwork and sculptures and the curating of the gallery spaces. Keyholder: left in sole charge of the gallery every week and managed administrative duties such as payment to the artists and framers, development and organisation of the Gallery’s client database, contacting potential clients by e-mail and responding to incoming e-mail and telephone enquiries. I was also responsible for arranging private viewing of artwork for VIP clients and the organisation of the gallery’s social media accounts, while acting as assistant to the Gallery Directors and the Gallery Technician.
