Projects
  • Before They Devour Us
Before They Devour UsBefore They Devour Us was my final University project, following a group of young adults as they are lured into a castle owned by a reclusive billionaire, who, unbeknownst to the rest of the world, is conducting experiments on humans in order to learn the secrets of immortality.
  • Painter's Studio - Background Design
Painter's Studio - Background DesignI created a background design for a painter's studio. Through the course of the day, the main canvas in the center changes from blobs of colour to a divine night sky painting. This piece progresses through dawn, day, sunset and night.
  • Vampire Shop - Background Design
Vampire Shop - Background DesignA concept design for a vampire themed shop, where they sell both human and animal blood to vampiric customers. The shop offers many features; fresh blood, chilled blood, or to-go bags, and an option to either take out or eat in. The only downside is that the shop is only open at night, because vampires.
  • Magic Shop - Background Design
Magic Shop - Background DesignI designed a background for a magic shop which sells potions, grimoires and magic books, magical crystals and plants! It even offers while-you-wait brewing! I designed this background in day, sunset and night.
  • Sword Designs - Concept Art
Sword Designs - Concept ArtI designed three unconventional swords for fun based on themes: Space, Egyptian, and Arcade. The development process included silhouettes, sketches, refinement and final pieces for all three swords. I also considered the functionality of the swords. The Space sword fires a concentrated laser beam; the Egyptian sword opens up and fires bandages to restrain the opponent; and the Arcade sword has multiple different 'games' with different functions (gunblade, shield, and turret).
  • Janitor's Folly
Janitor's FollyAn illustrative piece wherein an unlucky janitor working overtime comes face to face with a horrifying monster, and has only his mop to defend himself with.

I was selected to be featured in the first ever edition of Garland, an anthology of visual work designed around an overarching theme. I had the opportunity to pitch to clients, create consistent work to a predetermined theme, and prepare work for print.

I co-led and participated in a group project involving redesigning existing characters for a new production. I took a leadership role alongside another person, and was in charge of keeping my team on track and presenting our work in a clean and professional manner. I clearly communicated with my teammates and ensured that the project was completed on time and to a high standard.
