After 3 years Buying experience within the fashion retail industry, I am looking to get back into my passion which is Design.
I hold a BA Hons in Fashion Design with Communication and experience with CAD, Trend Analysis and working to hit strict deadlines. My experience within Buying is transferable and adaptable to the design industry.

• Wide buying experience over the past 3 years, which include, Lingerie, Beauty & Kidswear – currently working on Children’s Nightwear department
• Sole ownership of the departmental Critical Path, taking leadership of team weekly meetings to discuss where we are in the buying process, flagging up any issues and proposing solutions
• Maintaining a strong working relationship with the Sourcing & Regional Offices by being proactive on holding weekly TC’s and VC’s
• Working closely with my Buyer and Design team to build successful ranges – this is done through regular comp shops, listening to our customer needs and identifying any gaps in the market
• Ownership of the International & Onesie range, working closely with Designers, costing with our Sourcing office and negotiating in order to hit target margins
• Responsible for Lab Dips and Strike off submissions, approving/rejecting print techniques and colours for production
• Analysing weekly sales and presenting in trade meetings to the Leadership team – suggesting any actions and ensuring the team follow through
• Presenting in Product Sign Off, Product Surgeries and Strategy
• Strategising with the team and confidently following this through from concept to production
• Attending trade shows in UK and Europe
