I'm a creative, highly organised and diligent worker with excellent administration and interpersonal skills. In my current position as Retail Manager for Thornback & Peel I manage a successful online home-ware website and their Bloomsbury store. As well as implementing mechanisms to increase online sales, I assist with Social Media and I work directly with the public to provide an excellent customer service. I ran my own small online jewellery shop - www.wallpaperrose.co.uk for which I create the products and source materials. I was solely responsible for maintaining the website and brand development. I also created and maintain an active online presence on several social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and a Blog.
I held the position of Personal Assistant to the Directors in a successful Hospitality Interior Design Studio. I support the Managing Director and Executive Management Team. This involved the monitoring of all incoming calls and emails, diary management and room allocation. I was responsible for electronic and paper filing of office documents, updating the company contacts database, monitoring security footage and arranging all office travel including visa applications and courier actions. As PA I also performed reception duties, dealing with clients and suppliers alike, in person and on the telephone.. I also assisted in the preparation and processing of HR documentation, in which the upmost discretion and diplomacy was required. I liaised with our PR company to promote RPW Design through various channels taking minutes in our monthly meetings and working with them to achieve our ongoing targets. This included the proof reading of press releases and presentations, creating invitations and newsletters and entering competitions to further promote RPW’s achievements. I maintained the company website, updating it with newly completed projects and manage corporate communications and events and any other ad hoc duties as required.
