I am currently in the process of completing my final year at the University of Roehampton, in South West London. I am a hardworking, motivated and punctual individual and I strive to do my best in any situation or role that I am given. I have a great passion for music and performance, and also writing. During my time at university I have had two jobs, and been able to balance these with a busy workload at university. I am currently training to be an Opera singer with a teacher in London and through music, I have learned to become more confident.
My role at Anthropolgie involves high standards of customer service, meeting sales targets, and being organised in the role that I am given. It has also allowed me to express my more creative side in helping with personal styling sessions for customers.
In my role as a personal assistant, I mainly focus on administrative work, and organisation. Katerina is a professional singer and I create her newsletter using Mailchimp online which is sent out to over 2,500 members of her mailing list. I have also developed a new database using Google Excel Docs. I correspond with clients, and help research venues and work out costings for events. I help to keep the Facebook fan page updated with photos and videos.
I first joined the Half Moon staff as a waitress in January 2013, and then was promoted to supervisor in May 2014. My role as supervisor involved delegating tasks as team leader to make sure the pub was running effectively. I also co-ordinated the running of large booking events, and liaised with customers on personal menus. I was in charge of the daily financial duties such as stock take, counting the safe, and everyday banking.
The modules I have studied include: Theatre through thinking, stages and staging, introduction to literary studies, riots censorship and offence, theatre and the American dream, Victorian literature, origins and development of children’s literature, gothic fiction, laughing Victorians, unhomely spaces, performing non fiction, theatre criticism.
I was awarded the Digby Stuart College Music Scholarship for two years, starting in Septmber 2013.: This involves having to work with the university
My Riverside Opera Company Music Scholarship was under the direction of Sam Evans. This scholarship involved having to attend weekly rehearsals with the company in order to prepare for the various concerts we performed at through out the year, including at the Menuhin Hall, The Riverhouse Barn, and a fully staged production of Gounod
