@louisesloper Hello. I'm currently Head of Art & Design at CHI&Partners, leading a brilliant team of advertising and brand designers. This April, I was honoured to be included in The Drum's Designerati – a Top 100 list of influencers in the UK's Design industry. Prior to CHI, I was Head of Design at BETC London, helping to grow the business with our original core team of 6, including winning the global Bacardi account, Diet Coke account and creating a Campaign 'Hall of Fame' poster series for Cockburn's. Over my career I've been fortunate to work at a number of other leading London ad agencies. In 2014, I was Foreman of the D&AD Craft in Advertising professional awards jury, with the honour of judging the Black Pencils, and regularly judge at D&AD New Blood, and other awards bodies including Creative Circle and DesignWeek. Alongside being Vice-Chairman of the Typographic Circle, I am co-editor of their ADC award-winning magazine, Circular, designed by Dominic Lippa at Pentagram, of which, a retrospective was held at the V&A as part of the London Design Festival 2013. I am also a contributing writer for Computer Arts Magazine, as well as occasionally writing opinion pieces for other trade press, such as The Drum and DesignWeek. Passionate about supporting the next generation of designers, I founded the TypoCircle's Student Sessions, aimed at giving students and new grads the opportunity to chat to their peers and ask those burning questions about life in the creative industry to a number of leading names. Small groups, held at a variety of agencies, have seen some lively and frank discussions, and have gained great publicity since starting. Agencies have included BBH, WCRS, Euro RSCG, M&C Saatchi and JWT. Specialties: Art/Creative direction, typography, graphic design, branding, writing and fashion styling.
