About me
I am a recent Computer Arts graduate Abertay University. I have a strong understanding of concepting and animating. I studied traditional art in school for 6 years receiving top marks in my class each year which means I have a solid drawing skill that has transferred over to digital very well. I have an interest in games as I've played mobile games since I was young and have more recently started to play PC games.
Projects
  • University Honours Project
University Honours ProjectFinally finding the time to post about my Honours project for my final year at Abertay University. I created two NPC game characters for an RPG game. Both characters are sellers in the game, and aimed to not have to rely on voice lines or animations to have a personality and instead have a persona through their models alone. I explored Maya's Xgen feature to create fur for these characters and implemented them into Unreal Engine, along with props I made to create a turntable for each character.
  • 'Home'
'Home''Home' was a third year project at Abertay University in which I worked with a team of seven other students to produce a game for 'Dundee Carers'. I created the three game characters' 3D models and textured, rigged, and animated them.

'Home' was a third year project at Abertay University in which I worked with a team of seven other students to produce a game for 'Dundee Carers'. They were so impressed with the final result that it has been released and is now used as a tool to help young carers self-identify as carers from a young age. I created the three game characters' 3D models and textured, rigged, and animated them. They were made within mobile game parameters in the hopes we could have it available on both PC and mobile platforms. We were invited to pitch ‘Home’ at the 'I2I: from Isolation to Inclusion' conference to people all over Europe with extremely positive feedback for our game.
