About me
I'm Luca,
I'm a Graphic Designer based in London, and I honed my design skills out of necessity while launching my clothing brand in 2017.
Our brand gained recognition, with products stocked in numerous luxury boutique outlets worldwide, and we maintained a strong cultural presence within London's underground communities, particularly in skateboarding circles. This was a deliberate objective, and it's a strategy that many brands now embrace in the fashion industry.
During the lockdown, I made the decision to transition my career, utilizing the graphic design expertise I had developed through managing my fashion brand.
In late 2021, I joined a London-based studio called Skewed, where I took on the role of Graphic Design Lead. I've been involved in diverse projects for the studio, including clothing design, social media content, and print materials.
My adaptability shines through, and I'm comfortable working collaboratively with new teams. My primary goal is to thoroughly grasp the client's needs and execute with precision and diligence.
I've taken on multiple freelance assignments, working with diverse clients ranging from musicians like Central Lee to renowned brands like H&M and IKEA. My graphic design skills are highly adaptable, allowing me to tailor my expertise to suit any given project brief.
I'm proficient in the entire Adobe Suite and also skilled in using Figma.

At Skewed I operated principally as their Lead Designer as well as a supportive strategist.
Here I conceptualised a complete rebrand for their social media platform based on type, treatment, colour and hierarchy.
Created a strategy, timeline + deliverables for quarterly collections for their store in Sweden.
Assembled a design system for all internal documents such as decks, letterheads etc.
Completed all design outputs for our clients:

I founded Hidden Mangroves a London based brand in 2017. We were stocked in Dover Street Market London & other stores around Japan. Specialising in repurposed or deadstock fabrics I turned these materials into shirts that were both environmentally sustainable + fashionable.
I designed the whole brand identity + clothing.
