I am an advertiser from a graphic design background. Over the past six years of my career I have worked primarily within advertising, marketing and brand design, with additional experience in copywriting, typography, social media, business strategy, video production and photo editing. I have worked within various areas of design as both a regular employee and a freelancer, these experiences have developed me into a professional who is able to throw a thousand ideas at the wall and then develop the ones that deserve their own wall.
I work part time for Birmingham City University's in-house agency. I undertake multiple briefs of varying disciplines simultaneously, working mosty within branding and advertising
My freelance work requires use of my promotional and communication skills, the latter making me very experienced at discussing design requirements and suggestions with clients of varying levels of design knowledge, from professionals to amateurs. Throughout my time in this role I have worked quickly and accurately without sacrificing quality. Working with a small team of creatives, I created and led a workshop for Galliford Try employees on the importance and proper application of good visual design techniques.
