About me
Lucia Orlandi is a multi-disciplinary Creative Director & Designer. Working at the intersection of design and technology, she’s spent the past 13 years at some of the world’s most awarded agencies, working with celebrated brands within tech, consumer, beauty, and fashion industries. Originally from Ireland and presently in Los Angeles, Lucia embraces travel and a global perspective, having lived in Dublin, Toronto, NYC, San Francisco, and back to NYC again. Currently Head of Design at I&CO, she leads the creative department focusing new products & brands that create impact. Previously, Lucia was a Creative Director at R/GA NY, where she led design within her group and was a Creative Director for clients such as Mailchimp, LEGO, and ESPN. Her keen eye for craft has a broad range, expressed through systematic, brand, and conceptual work. With an immersive approach, she’s passionate about building multi-disciplinary creative teams of those with unique backgrounds. As a queer woman in leadership, mentorship and championing career growth are close to her heart. Her work has been recognized through top industry awards and featured in publications such as Time Magazine, The New York Times, Creativity, AdAge, It’s Nice That, and The Association of Illustrators.

    Ladies Get PaidBranding, Creative Direction, Print.  Ladies Get Paid is an organization that helps women to rise up at work through knowledge sharing and support which enables women to advocate for their value. The organization launched with a strong and provocative statement from the beginning:  ‘Fuck the wage gap’ , it was important for the brand identity and ethos to embody this rally cry.   • We Are America
    We Are AmericaAd Council Design, Social, Digital & OOH, Creative Direction. In a year when talk around what it means to be American is reaching fever pitch, we released an important message on July 4th starring WWE wrestler John Cena.   This message extended through OOH, social and on site where we created an opportunity for people to participate in a completely raw, unfiltered snapshot of Americans celebrating America; a simple and true demonstration of the diversity our speech talks about. Our site encouraged users to upload a photo to create their own portrait of America, simultaneously adding to the collage of images on the site.

    Golden Globes Shoppable Red CarpetL'Oréal Paris USA Art Direction, Design We were tasked with making 2015 Golden Globes L'Oréal's Super Bowl – the biggest night of the year where we owned the red carpet conversation. We created a fully shoppable social command center that tracked trends as they came down the red carpet and transformed them into looks you could get at home. Creating over 200 pieces of content, this multi-channel effort captured 92% share of voice among competitors and garnered major buzz within the industry.
