- Self PromotionAs our final product in my third year at university, it was up to us to come up with our own ideas for the final exhibition project. I decided to do something that would really give me a push in the long run for finishing university. I ended up branding my identity. This involves my art, my music and even myself.
- Body ImageBody Image is a very important topic to me and so I based my dissertation on it. On my course, we have to come up with a creative response and so I made a booklet of people showing their true, realistic figures. They are normal people who walk the streets and were all willing to help which I am very grateful for. The images become fairly monotonous in black and white to enhance that nobody is better than anybody else. I wanted these people to be proud of themselves and to also appreciate what they have. I drew them all photo realistically using Photoshop so that they saw themselves as a work of art.
- Go FoodI had a week of work experience at Turn Key, a marketing company based in Leeds. It was an incredibly valuable week that helped me get an insight to marketing, PR and design in an office. Whilst there, I was requested to draw a tomato that could be used as a design for a new chain of restaurants, Go Food. Once they decided they liked it, they asked for more images. It was enjoyable trying to work to such a professional level for the first time.
