Specialising in digital embroidery design, I am a London based designer who uses specialist digital software to create precise, yet creative embroidery designs. My advanced digitalising skills and extensive technical knowledge both within the digital software, and the Cad machinery itself, allows for an exciting range of possibilities.
I am currently offering my digitising skills on a freelance basis but I am also open to new opportunities. I have experience working in womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear, whilst also working with individual clients to realise new projects or create bespoke artwork, tailoring my skills to each individual’s needs.
Alongside designing, I have experience teaching and assisting in several embroidery classes, from evening taster classes to 6-week courses. These classes can cover a range of skill sets, including: hand embroidery and embellishment; free-machine embroidery; and primarily, digital embroidery.

Established in Lahore in 2013, Ethnic is primarily a womenswear brand, honing in on detailed craftsmanship to deliver intricate and vibrant garments for the modern woman. With everything from initial design ideas to final production produced in-house; Ethnic strives for perfection and a final result their customer will feel beautiful in.
The London Studio within Ethnic provided a fresh take on the brand’s textile design, focusing on the development of experimental and bespoke hand embellishment and digitally embroidered designs, alongside hand crafted, illustrative prints.
My key roles within the team:
» Primary CAD embroidery digitiser for the London design team
» Creating high quality embroidery on a range of womenswear and childrenswear lines; working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality and innovative designs within the set time scale
» Researching and sharing new embroidery techniques
» Creating placement and repeat layouts for conversational lines
» Working closely with the Senior Embroidery Designer and Textile Design Director to develop design ideas
» Working seamlessly with the production team and creating easy to follow and detailed specification sheets, whilst also providing technical solutions
» Sharing CAD expertise and training colleagues on specialist digitising software
» Creating detailed technical help sheets and check list’s for smoother running and consistency within the London studio
» Organising and managing studio space for the embroidery team
» Cataloguing digital design files and physical samples for easy reference
» Managing interns and assisting with their development and confidence

The London Embroidery Studio offers bespoke embroidery solutions on a consultancy basis, working closely with a range of clients to develop innovative designs, mixing traditional hand and machine techniques with state-of-the-art computer technology.
Led by design practitioners and tutors with a wealth of creative and industry experience, The London Embroidery Studio also offers evening and weekend classes, teaching the art of hand techniques, machine embroidery, and computer-aided design from novice to intermediate levels.
