I'm a Creative, Art Director and Designer. My work orbits around the content marketing industry: everything I do is inherently social and I enjoy the variety of a multi-disciplinary creative role. I also make artwork, primarily painting and drawings inspired by lunar cycles and rock formations in the desert.Locked Pro Plan feature
I work at the heart of a small creative team for an always on Content agency. My role demands that I am conceptually and technically accomplished, an expert at delivering creative solutions to challenging business problems in a fast paced environment. I own projects from brief through to delivery, ensuring creative excellence across a multitude of channels whilst ensuring the brand is articulated correctly and consistently. I am a mentor to junior members of the team, ensuring they develop their own skills and setting a high standard of creative innovation for others to emulate. My role requires me to be a hybrid in capabilities. I am adept at creative concept generation, art direction, video and photo shoot direction and design for social, web, apps and print. I facilitate the development of brand identity and ensure the brand is applied consistently across campaigns and channels. I ensure concepts are created and delivered within the scope of the project schedule and budget constraints. Keep stakeholders, the production/traffic team and my line manager informed of a project's status. I consistently stay in tune and up to date with current trends and culture which informs and underpins my creative output.
I was part of a company that is passionate about the impact of play; where creativity and deep engagement are cornerstones to everything produced. I was part of a leading creative team that developed digital solutions. We made a difference to the LEGO Group offering, giving children an extension of play from physical to digital, and working on blending the two. My role as Associate Digital Art Director included concept creation, web design, visual design, and illustration. I worked on the Canne award-winning LEGO Life of George from 2012 onwards, my responsibilities included digital art direction and illustration of the level updates and UI elements, briefing the builders and animators and selecting the models to include in the game. I also worked as the lead digital art director on the LEGO Minecraft website to co-inside with the first product launch. I was responsible for the sites art direction, design, tone of voice, creative play experience, acting as the sign off for other departments within the process, such as 3D Animation and Development.
