  • I work as a receptionist and perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office. This includes: • Organising travel, booking meeting rooms, booking couriers, logging annual leave on the Sage 50 HR database, manning the switchboard, helping to manage the library and meeting authors and clients in reception • Overseeing management of post and logistics In order to learn more about the publishing industry I have taken on extra responsibilities. These include: • Regularly completing tasks such as proofreading, copy editing, checking off proofs, index checking • Writing, editing and uploading blogs and social media content – a continuation of the work I undertook as a digital intern in the marketing department • Logging and feeding back social media data to the marketing department • Helping to administrate acquisitions and submissions • Undertaking research for the sales team
