Client and project management in the design and events sector
My role in the client service team of this branding, design and communications group involved: • Building strong relationships with both existing and new clients, including two large public sector organisations • Handling multiple print and digital projects concurrently • Working on marketing projects for English Heritage, including the coordination of filming at sites around the country for their brand film and cover design for the annual members’ handbook • Creating time lines and prioritising tasks to ensure key outputs were delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner • Attending key meetings to present design concepts for feedback and approval • Liaising with third party suppliers, agents and photographers • Ensuring all parties had visibility of projects, briefs, costs and timings • Scheduling and briefing designers, illustrators and artworkers • Working seamlessly alongside the account director, creative director and the internal project team
