• Launch the biggest store development in the business to date • Implement and develop the new way of working • Manage a team of visual stylists • Ensure that the M&S brand is upheld through displays and merchandising for a high profile store • Develop an inviting, exciting and shopable store environment • Coordinate the visual team, shopfloor management and staff to ensure phase changes are implemented on time and to a high standard. • Plan seasonal and promotional launches, implement them on time and to a high standard • Follow company principals when merchandising departments to make sure a consistent look is implemented throughout M&S. • Lead senior management and regional walk through, providing feedback. • Work with the operational team to ensure the correct equipment is placed throughout the store and if not used stored correctly following Health and Safety procedures. • Assist other stores with concept launches and developments. • Conduct linear and equipment counts to ensure the correct footage is allocated per phase change • Probe departments in order to increase revenue. • Manage and update the HR system ensuring staff hours are recorded, holiday’s are booked and reports are printed. • Conduct a competitive shop to review other retailers.
• Dress and style instore mannequins • Create eye catching and innovative instore displays • Ensure all instore decor is correctly displayed within relevant departments during seasonal/promotional periods • Assist the model store set up team in laying out new season product and dress and style mannequins accordingly • Work within a team to create a consistent look throughout the store • General cleaning standards • Customer service.
