I am a reliable, enthusiastic and practical person currently working as Production Manager and studio assistant for an artist management and production start up. I am looking for new opportunities as I have been there for 3 years and feel I have outgrown my role and what the business can offer me at present. I would like to work in an innovative studio that collaborates with different clients and brands. My passions are food, art, film, and production and I would love to be involved with a studio that works in these areas. I think that my experience working in a creative, fast-paced environment would enable me to transition comfortably into a studio. I work well in a team as I have very good interpersonal skills and am very emotionally aware of others, but also have experience in and can work very well independently. My experience working in my current job means that I am able to adapt and respond effectively to new situations or find solutions when facing a problem.
I currently work at Twelve Arts which is an artist management and art production start-up. We manage the international light artist Chris Levine. I produce his exhibitions and artworks, manage relationships across suppliers and clients, galleries and museums such as The Fine Art Society, V&A, The National Portrait Gallery, Saatchi Gallery, Barbican and other institutions such as sketch & Soho House. I have produced shoots with Naomi Campbell, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Sir Paul Smith, and Giorgio Armani. I have co-produced events at Glastonbury, Eden project, sketch, and at Beneville Studios in New York.
I work closely with Chris Levine and his manager and would manage all administrative aspects; database management, diary management, email marketing channels, social media and website, online sales enquiries and bookkeeping support when needed. I organise travel for the team when we have a project abroad; booking flights, hotels and creating daily itineraries for each crewmember. I also manage the London studio, keeping it organised and presentable for when we have client meetings and manage general office upkeep. We recently moved from Dalston to Bermondsey and I have managed the complete project, finding the new location and setting it up into a working studio again.
I was offered an internship at the PC agency during my summer months after finishing university. I supported all account executives and managers with admin support and contributing to ideas for stories for editors and journalists. I was offered a full-time position as an account executive which I accepted, I still supported my colleagues across all accounts but had much more responsibility and started to take journalist meetings and managed a successful press trip to Austria.
