Throughout my time at the University of Leeds studying Fashion Marketing (BA Hons), I have vastly expanded my knowledge of both the theoretical and practical sides of the fashion industry. Independent research and examinations throughout my three years of study, supported by relevant work experience placements have provided me with the skills to engage with a variety of areas within the creative industry. University modules such as Fundamentals of Imaging, Photography & Styling and Trend Forecasting have provided me with key skills in visual communication where I have practiced the most effective ways to convey a brand, trend or individual’s core values. Using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, I have learnt how to translate these values into a visually effective format. Internships throughout my education have allowed me to practice and further these abilities in real life situations whilst also progressing my understanding of the industry as a whole.
