As a leading marketing educational body, the IDM have ample content. My responsibilities included editing and creating content for online publishing and e-Learning courses, sculpting the content to make it fit the target audience. Furthermore, I helped manage corporate clients and follow thorough content specifications through an effective workflow and production process, consequently expanding my knowledge on the different ways content can be presented.
The IDM organise a wide range of marketing events and host over 40 face-to-face specialised courses a month. This therefore involves working collaboratively with external suppliers, organising venue requirements and managing the delegates’ customer journey- from booking on to a course to finishing it- be it a one-day course or a one-year qualification.
Professional Linguistic Upper Studies are one of the leading organisations in language training. PLUS organise a series of seasonal camps and schools to help children and teenagers learn a new language. I worked in the London office and helped liaise with summer campuses across the UK to organise their leisure weekends in London. The role saw me liaising with both campus managers, transportation companies and venue locations in London to ensure optimal scheduling of the children’s weekends in London.
Eccles Fisher Associates (previously Anne Louise Fisher Associates) are a literary scout agency sourcing the best content from publishing houses and agencies alike with particular strong ties with Mondadori- one of Europe’s top publishing companies. My role at the scouting agency was to assist with daily administrative tasks and organise basic aspects of production such as scheduling and reading and reporting on manuscripts.
As a degree that involves the study of humans and our surrounding culture and environment, I have been able to gain a unique perspective in the unfolding of manifold situations, including the ability to approach any given situation in a creative and resourceful way
