I'm half French and half Portuguese. I have spent my life moving between cities but have never felt inclined to stay in any one more than two years. I'm a graduate of audiovisual communication and have always had a strong attraction to working with these media. I don't have any particular goal for my work but I have a clearly defined taste and values, knowing what excites me and what doesn't. I have a very high level of attention to detail, for me a single detail can ruin an entire work. I am passionate about aesthetics and particular about camera angles (yes, angles). I try to capture moments that make me physically tingle in my hands and the tips of my fingers. The moment can be frozen and set apart from the rest of reality as it continues in time. Once alone, the moment can be interpreted in infinite ways. With my videos I try to untwist the basic elements of day to day life playing with distortion to alter perception of the moment. I try to captivate my audience this way, urging them to put together the pieces and fuse them into their own story constructed of familiar and yet unfamiliar elements. An object only exists if lights falls upon it. I take pleasure in playing with this law of physics.
