My duties included negotiating commercial terms with local production companies, such as Endemol Italy and Magnolia and negotiating with the hosts; approving treatments; reviewing and approving rough cuts; advising ad sales and marketing for Ofcom compliance. • Part of a team responsible for the reversioning and customisation of factual, lifestyle and entertainment content for all DNE brands. All programmes needed to comply with Ofcom regulations. • Prepared schedules and supervised the post-production process. • Directed edit and sound sessions on a daily basis. • Casting of voice over talents. • Dealt with clients and third party producers. • Worked on fast turnarounds current affairs programmes; worked on branded content and programmes with product placement. • In charge of the final sign-off of the programmes before broadcast. • Executive producer for the crime series Dans la tête du tueur for Discovery France: supervised the scripts editing, the shoot in Paris and the programme sign-off. • Solely responsible for the editorial control of the DNE Italian free DTT channel Real Time, top 5 channel in terms of audience ratings. • Part of the interdepartmental team working on the TLC UK launch. • Mentor for new starters.
