Manage multiple projects – whilst working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, I was able to handle more than
one work load at a time. I’d get approached for social media video and post ideas from the radio team whilst I was in
the process of making set projects.
- Meeting deadlines – Getting videos and posts edited at a certain time so the story stay relevant and scheduling posts to
reach the optimal levels of engagement with our followers.
- Audience data and analytics – Via BBC softwares and team meetings, we assess what stories and posts do well on
our social media and online pages; Demographics such as ages, devices, gender and more. With these tools I can better
tailor our posts to reach a higher level of engagement.
- Social media coordinator – Having access to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and choosing what to post. Being able to
put my creativity to use and finding new local stories that could be implemented.
- BBC Three - worked at the editing hub at the Mailbox building in Birmingham. We would have
content strategy meetings in the morning on how we can optimise audience engagement with the latest trends based
off BBC Three shows and taking 30 seconds to 1 minute clips and putting my own spin on it. My videos would get
posted onto the main BBC Three accounts both Facebook and Instagram.
- Make A Difference Awards ’22 & ’23 (Local Radio Awards) Nationwide campaign to find those who ‘make a difference’ in their community – Social media administrator responsible for photography of
guests, recording voxes of winner reactions for a montage to be played the next morning and helped furnish the event
with branding and graphics. Would have to work under pressure as this was a live event.

- Headfest ’23 (Mental health awareness week) – Responsible for taking digital and audio footage for output. Social
media administrator for Instagram stories, Twitter and Facebook posts. Reporter by speaking to people attending the
event and sending audio into a media asset folder for producers to access to amend. Made radio packages involving
mixing audio and music together to tell the story.
-BBC Sounds - Online home to BBC Radio and podcasts. Worked on edited celebrity interviews at local radio and would upload them to online for listeners to go back and listen or catch up if they didn’t hear it broadcasted live
