About me

Hi people, I'm Lukas, a Video and Sound Editor from Germany. I basically started my journey into the film industry through editing, and although I went through many other departments afterwards, editing has always been my first weapon of choice and will probably be forever. In the last 4 years I have worked on various projects, ranging from commericals, short films, music videos, TV series, documentaries and feature films to experimental. Then one year ago I made the decision to move to the UK to work on more international and challenging projects. And yes, it has been a rough start, especially during these weird times. It is sometimes harsh, stressful and exhausting, but conquering these obstacles make you grow and eventually get you to the top of your game. To put my artistic style in a nutshell: Grotesque, dark humoristic and trying to step on peoples feet. We live in a word, where everything is getting more and more subordinated to a social norm, which is in my opinion censorship. The word is sometimes a cruel and dark place. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? Laugh about it, because in the end that's all what's left.
