Engraving AssistantLisa Angel
Norwich, United KingdomFull Time
Using laser, UV machines and printer plotters to personalise jewellery and homeware, using multiple softwares including adobe illustrator. Working with the design team I would be given designs which would need testing on new products, this involved changing the artwork to work with the new products if the original designs were not working, then feeding back to the design team.
I’ve gained a large amount of maintenance knowledge with the machines we use, this means I can help other staff members if there is an issue with a machine.
Artworking for customers own designs/drawings. Whilst working as a supervisor over the busy Christmas period I managed a large team on my shift pattern, this role involved training temporary staff on laser machines, teaching them the basics of adobe illustrator and our other softwares.
